can you take naproxen and amitriptyline whilst on methotrexate obviously cause I’m in pain with my rheumatoid arthritis, awaiting appointments in march

Hi yes ,id go to docs To get the pain relief

There is lots of pain relief like above and more

The doc usually prescibes all this for you ,if doc will prescibe

I take all three, methotrexate by weekly injections, naproxen for pain and inflammation and amitriptyline for fibromyalgia nerve pain.I would 100% run this by your gp or rheumatologist dept for their advice to ensure they consider this safe for you to do so. Maybe they would consider a short course of steroids for now instead?

Do ask the professionals though.
