The advice is to miss your next 2 doses to increase the effectiveness of the vaccination

Can you email your rheumatology dept? I had an appointment with my consultant just before I was due to have the jab. She advised me to continue with MTX and COSENTYX but to have COVID and flu jabs separately a week or more apart. So I think maybe it depends on your individual circumstances. Xx

Thank you Gillian for your reply, it's a bit late now to email them, I just find it all very confusing, think I'll give a few more days and get back on the horse as it were, all the best Jeremy

It’s 2 weeks, which has been recommended by the British society of Rheumatology since Nov 2022. Doing so doubles the number of antibodies you make.If you’re not stable though you should speak to your rheumatologist.

Wouldn't it be helpful if hospital Rheumatology Departments had an online page on the hospital's website to post this sort of information as there's no quick way of contacting them.

Had my Covid vaccine last week so phoned RA team for advice. They said to miss 2 methotrexate doses following the jab. But only if I cud. If I was struggling, not to worry about it. I’ve missed 1 so far & doing ok 🤞

I’ve just had my Covid and Flu jabs together this time luckily and my Rheum nurse told me two weeks off all my medications- I also take Filgotinib - post vaccines.

Good morning, I've been told to hold off for two weeks. Hope you'll never get COVID.
