rash on stomach

I just went to get changed and I’ve noticed a rash all over my stomach. They are tiny little spots no itchiness no nothing. I have no idea what this could be. I did go to a sushi restaurant last night but I don’t feel sick or anything. Any help

heat, sweat ? I had small bumps come up on my inner arms last week and put it down to that, it went after a few days. If you’re concerned then speak to your doctor as we can’t diagnose. Hopefully it’ll just disappear as quickly as it came.

I haven’t been in the heat as Been working nights. I went to pharmacist and they gave me some allergy tablets and told me to keep an eye on it and call 111 if anything changes.

Sweat though can cause irritation.

The recent hot weather can be very dehydrating…..Quite likely it’s just dry skin….use whatever moisturiser you know suits you & it will probably go away.

If it hangs around & starts to irritate try to see your GP practice nurse.

I have something looks ( to my eyes and research ) similar and may be petechaie. They are flat tiny spots, no itching but on my lower legs. As they have started to spread up my legs feet I went to a gp - she has no idea but sent pics to a dermatologist. Worth keeping an eye on this and getting a Dr to looking they don't go

Have you got a cat or been close to a cat ? It could be allergy to flea dirt.

Keep an eye on it. It could be infected hair follicles as I’ve had this in the past or shingles. I had to have antibiotics to clear it up. Could also be heat rash so if it doesn’t clear in a few days you might need to see a GP. I have a medi body wash that I now use in the bath and shower as I am prone to getting cellulitis. Xx

Started any new meds before the rash?

I did notice you don’t say if you have RA or not and what medications your prescribed. Nothing wrong with that, but if you’ve started a new medication then it could be that too.

Hi as long as blanching? Stretch the skin and if disappearing then don't worry! Also no temperature and not red and angry. Could possibly be the result of a viral infection there are lots around. If you've felt under the weather over the past week the rash could be the tail end of a virus. Some viruses leave a dry raised rash. If concerned then contact your GP. If not a blanching rash be seen asap! Good luck !

HiI have these too , on and off, nothing to do with sweat, allergies or med reactions . I am on humira . Rheumatology never that concerned when I show them but GP has said the rash is probably associated with RA itself. I use sudacrem or aloe vera gel during the day and a thick moisturiser at night. The rash usually appears on backs of my arms and lower legs and looks exactly the same as yours. It always goes away but does come back every 3 or so months . Let me know if you find out any different. Best wishes.

update:

It keeps coming and going, it comes for like 2 days and goes for several and then comes back. This time it’s come back lower down my stomach and leg. I was diagnosed with HSP as I child and never had it since. Also what is RA for people saying? Just think if I go to doctors it won’t be there and they won’t believe me

I’m afraid you are on a page for people with mostly with Rheumatoid Arthritis so replies might be misleading as we’d perhaps assume it could be medication related. You need to see your GP to get it checked out. We are not medically qualified so if your worried have you looked on NHS direct. Or can’t you send an Econsult with photo to your GP? It doesn’t look to me like Shingles and by now would be very painful so I can’t say anything else than a skin reaction or allergy but only you can get help by contacting your GP.
