Abatacept infusion side effects ?: Due for infusion on... - NRAS
Abatacept infusion side effects ?
Hi thereI had my first abatacept infusion about 3 weeks ago and felt fine afterwards albeit a bit tired afterwards.
I did get a cold about 1 week later but not sure it was related. Good luck with your infusion.
Had my first one on Wednesday felt fine had to wait after it as blood pressure raised slightly good luck
I'm due my first in the next week or so too. Hope it goes well for you x
Call the unit where you are having the infusion…..after all- worst case scenario you delay the infusion..& enjoy your holiday!
Unfortunately I had to call the nurse who was coming to do the infusion as I have come down with a bug.Hopefully it will just be 24-48 hr.now postponed for 2weeks
Sorry you’ve got a bug….but at least you have got things sorted…but can you still go on holiday feeling unwell?
I have been having Abatacept infusions for more than 10 years. I usually wake up with a headache the next morning but that clears after a couple of paracetamol. I actually enjoy my monthly visits to the infusion suite at my local hospital. The staff there are like friends.
