Word of warning about Abatacept availability

I have found today that I cannot obtain Abatacept as both the epipens and the drug are in short supply or in my case unobtainable. No idea what next, I await my rheumy’s reply to my email,

The drug itself isn’t in short supply, it’s the clickpen manufacture that is the issue.

You will most likely be moved temporarily onto infusions like many of us.

I had my monthly infusion of Abatacept last week and they confirmed that they haven’t been informed of any shortage of infusions so you ma be offered this as an alternative.
