Anybody else had or having the experience of being forced to change from Humira to biosimilar Yuflyma?
I’m lucky to be in good health and chemical remission from RA thanks to a MTX/Humira regime for the last 8 years. The only hiccup in this time was when the Rheumatology team strongly advised switching to Imraldi in 2019. I reluctantly agreed with the proviso that, if not successful, I would go back onto Humira. 5 weeks into the Imraldi and it was as if I had never had any treatment for aggressive onset RA. I had rapidly reverted to an ‘invalid’ to RA. My appeal to the team resulted in an urgent switch back to Humira … this of course all took time but eventually (luckily I responded to Humira again) I was back to good health. The whole distressing episode took about 6 months out of my life. Has anybody actually switched to Yuflyma and found no difference in their RA? Has anybody resisted being changed? My initial appeal has resulted in a stronger communication of ‘You will… ‘ !!
