Art is my passion, but sometimes I don’t have the energy or motivation to paint for weeks on end…
I’ve learned to pace myself, 😂 sometimes,… other times I am like a deluded nutter and spend several days living at a normal rate!
It doesn’t take much for reality to come crashing in ….
Not complaining, it’s just what it is 😊
I too am a painter. Portraits and landscapes. I do a lot , get confident and enthusiatic then stop completely !! House is full of canvasses and sketch books.

I paint in all media , oils glow but, the cleaning up after is tedious!! Did you always draw? I go to life drawing locally, that is brilliant , makes me concentrate snd, it is good talented group. That makes all the difference.

FABULOUS-I CAN'T PAINT A LICK BUT REALLY APPRECIATE EVERYONE ELSE'S TALENT. WISH I COULD. I USED TO KNIT ESP. INTRICATE SKI SWEATERS AND THE LIKE. CAN'T ANYMORE DUE TO MY HANDS. I REALLY ENJOYED IT . OF COURSE EVERYONE AND THEIR BROTHER HAD SWEATERS COMING OUT THEIR EARS--------LOL. YOU JUST KEEP PLUGGING AWAY -YOU'RE GOOD AND I'M SURE EVERYONE GREATLY APPRECIATES AND ENJOYS YOUR WORK.I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT FEELING COMPLETELY SPENT------JUST TAKE A REST AND BREAK AND YOU'LL BE BACK IN ACTION IN NO TIME.
