Just got back from garden centre! Went to buy new plants…… shop full of PINKBAUBLES for Christmas BARBIE Tree and ………a table of cakes and biscuits! Right in the middle …… Tunnocks Teacakes. Maybe the trip was not a waste of time after all ………..?

Christmas begins too early now. But on the other hand mince pies are nice anytime of the year. Our local Tesco so I assume all the others is selling Hot Cross Buns how they different from tea cakes?

I know - I used to love Tunnocks caramel wafers but they are not GF which is probably just as well.

We had a guy in our art class who was a master patissier and when the class was starting up there were only half a dozen or so students so he who used to bring us beautiful cakes every week and he made ‘tunnocks’ look alike tea cakes - with a special GF one for me. Unfortunately the class grew in size and then he left so no more cakes.
