Imraldi : My partners injections were getting delivered... - NRAS
Imraldi
keep phoning! Could be a mix up with his prescription,
Contact them have you got the app? It may be easier .
I would call again as for me they have always followed thro with what was being done! Plus as someone else has mentioned get the app. I know many have had issues with them I am not one of those but be persistent to get them to give you the info.
has he had any routine blood tests due? I was told that the injections are done on a 6 months prescription and so have got to do my bloods otherwise the script will run out.
Ring rheumatologist?
if his bloods are up to date, then I would phone your rheumatologist, and see what they say. It could be a delay in the prescription being processed. It could be they need to review, and ensure it’s still doing its job before continuing. If there is no issue at their end, they will chase it up fir you. I’ve had 2 delays in 6.5yrs both due to tbd prescription not being sent to Sciensus
I had that problem twice apparently it was human error with the prescription..You have to keep contacting them
Could be a few things! Prescription not issued, has he had the regular blood tests? I would download the app, I normally order mine via the app( I am prompted by text). If you are still having problems you need to contact his nurse asap.
I had the same problem a few weeks ago and was caught between the hospital and the delivery company, both sides seeming to blame the other for the delay. In the end, after several e mails and phone calls to both, I got them. It turned out the delay was from the hospital , so it might be worth chasing them up.
you should check see if hospital has stopped them.
Definitely check with the hospital. This has happened so often with my injections. I'm often on the phone trying to sort it out. The Sciensus app helps but no good if the hospital haven't sent over your prescription! There are so many moving parts to result in the delivery of the meds. It's all a bit bonkers really. It would be one thing if all those moving parts were contained in the hospital, but since the NHS outsource so much of their services including delivery of medicines, it is never going to be a smooth ride with this things! Good luck and hope the meds come soon!
Get in touch with your rheumy nurse to chase it. They have much more impact than us phoning. Stress you don't have any. Sciensus are very good at lying about prescriptions and saying your.bloods might not be up to date. App is also useless. If you ring them, call bang on 8am to get through. They are under investigation for failing to deliver as well x
