How does everyone find the adalimurhab compared to the mtx injection? I found it a lot more painfully , the mtx jab for me is painless but the biological jab kind of hurts a bit or is it me just being a wimp ? Also I read the side effects and the side effects that 1 in 10 people can get is scary , I know u shouldn’t really read the side effects but I just wanted to know what I can expect to feel like after and what to watch out for in case of problems .

Imraldi more painfull
I’m on elerzi( etanercept) and methotrexate injections. Like you methotrexate don’t hurt but Biologic does. I’ve found injecting to my stomach less painful ( I also take it out of the fridge for a few hours to get room temperature
I disagree. I think it's always important to read the side effects, that way if anything dodgy crops up you are aware.
I found bio injections painful in comparison to methotrexate too. Really had to force myself to do it. Was less painful in my stomach.
Yep I was switched from Humira to Imraldi hurts a lot more! Longer injection time I think plus the mechanism makes all the difference. Humira have reduced the amount of liquid in the product I think to make it even easier which sucks because I barely felt the injection anyway. So sad about the switch because it was handled terribly by NHS and the new company are useless in comparison. It does save money which is good but personally it’s a bad switch. Pinching lots of skin and fat helps I think and room temperature injection.
Yes, Amgevita (adalimumab ie biosimilar to Humira) delivers quite a sting!
As others say, best taken out of the fridge hours before use, and inject belly fat. Hope it works for you.
