Were you informed of this by your rheum or rheum nurse?

A letter was sent to me many months ago, saying that some patients would be transferred over. As I had seen my rheumatologist in between this and spoken with the specialist nurses and no one had said anything, I assumed this wasn't happening with me. It had taken many years to get this far with humira prescribed...

I’m sorry you weren’t told specifically. You should have definitely been told. It might be worth giving the rheum nurses a ring and talk it through.

I did, at least I've left a message on their voice mail. The frustrating thing is that my delivery is late and apparently the hospital told me that healthcare at home must have lost the prescription, or it had been lost in the post. So they told me they would send another, which HAH obviously have now but when I called them to arrange a date for delivery they told me that it was not for Humira...

This is totally unacceptable....do hope you can get it sorted out. No-one should be put in this position, with no discussion. Good luck!

Yes, I agree but I doubt that anything will change. They will still just switch me over... I just hope it works as well, without side effects... this awful illness 😥

Hi, I felt the same when I heard I was being changed as Humira was the only drug that had worked for me and I was in drug induced remission from RA on that, but I have to say Imraldi worked just as well no change at all. But sadly I have now had to stop RA treatment due to breast cancer surgery, and chemo.

I guess it’s a biosimilar so lower cost. I’m also on a biosimilar and it’s changed my life. Although there should have been a discussion about this which isn’t good,

I’m happy that these are miles cheaper and that it may reduce the threshold to prescribe them. I may be living in fairy land there, but it would be great if people didn’t have to go through brutal trial and error before finding relief much earlier on. Hopefully, you won’t notice any difference at all.
