Good morning lovely people. On checking out Amazon Prime Day offers (other retailers also available) today, I saw a Renpho electric heating pad for back and shoulders on offer for £19.99. I have bought one because I get so chilly and it looks snuggly. Perhaps useful for others here?

Haven’t seen the one you’re talking about but I’ve got a heated pad / cape thing for around my shoulders. I got it when I was having massive problems with a shoulder a few years ago. The shoulder is better now but I still use the heat thing in the winter when I feel cold - I sometimes sit with it over my knees instead of my shoulders. Saves turning up the central heating very important in this day and age. You’ve just got to be careful not to walk off when you’re plugged in. Enjoy yours Gnarli 😊
So True! I have an electric throw….first few times I I used it….when I got up from the sofa…I cleared the coffee table - luckily only of books!!!
Haven’t got that particular make (but they’re always selling off others) and they’re without doubt, the best thing for bad backs ever! I am glued to mine each evening in my armchair come Winter or Summer. So relaxing having that heat all the way up your back and shoulders especially if you’re achey and stiff or just cold, or both!
I’ve had a heated back pad for as long as I can remember and it’s probably the single most effective treatment for painful muscles and sore spines and you don’t have to swallow it or inject it! Soooo comforting.
Would highly recommend for everybody and if buying one get it with different heat settings and timer so that the pad switches itself off when you’ve fallen asleep …………😄
I use heat pads in the winter, great for getting rid of those cold spots. Just a word of caution "some", heat pads interfere with pacemakers. So if you or someone that is going to use it has a pacemaker or are sensitive to ef its important to check.
It's the same as some of the heat mats some give off high levels of Electro frequency.
I bought a heat mat for my mother from amazon, no mention of this in the description but there was a warning on the packaging.
I tested my heats mats ( they are wonderful for cold floors especially when you can't afford to put the heating on in the winter) and a heat pad I've got. My heat pad was fine, one of the two mats gave off very hight ef..
