I'm 5 years in, already had 5 main medication changes as they all eventually stopped working.Like now I think kevzara not working as flairs r back since April, hands n fingers so swollen n painful, I'm so done with feeling so crap everyday blah blah blah I'm sure u all know the feeling..

My question is who has had any results with mushrooms like lion's mane, charga and others???

I nearly ordered some then came here 1st to ask everyone.

It does say they contraindicated with immunosuppressive etc but everything does.. Dr's don't have a clue because they don't know or believe about natural things to help..

Any advice or experiences would be amazing please.

Sorry this is rush wrote but fingers sore & it's school pick up time..

Thanks for reading.

HiI think the ones to look at are Reishi and chaga as they work better on the immune system. Lions mane are great but better for cognitive function.

My husband just grew some reishi (ugly looking things) he has dried and ground them up so I haven't started on them yet. I have used mushroom blends before to make a tea but it tastes so disgusting I can't stick with it so perhaps capsules may be the way to go?

This is so funny, I literally ordered a Lions Mane tincture 2 days ago and currently waiting for it to arrive... For me I am trying to see if it helps my brain fog at all, rather than pain/inflammation. I will report back :)

You might like to look at this article: medicalnewstoday.com/articl...

But do note that most of the studies have been done on mice and rats....

And like many complementary medicines there are claims for a very wide range of conditions.

And you need to look for possible adverse effects e.g. verywellmind.com/the-benefi...

so that you can do a benefits against harms assessment for yourself.

If you have been taking supplements or any OTC meds…..have you thought that might be why you have had to change drugs so often?

Your doctor will be prescribing thinking what he prescribes is all you are taking ….if you are adding stuff…it may not be helping?

Not what you're looking for?
