Can I take benpalli injection if I am on antibiotics? Thanks.

No, or at least I was told to stop mine and not to take it for a few days after I'd finished them. Double check with your rheumy team though. My antibiotics were very strong ones but I presume it's the same for all.

it’s individual, as depends on what antibiotics are for (serious internal infection or little bit of a rash) and on your overall state of health, With some people its more importantto keep taking the biologic even if slightly compromised by antibiotic. With others it’s the reverse,

You need to ask whover prescribed the antibiotic.

Edit - just seen you have bad throat infection so my guess is that would be the priority, so no benepali.

I was told no but only if a weeks /ten day course not for say a UTI or three days. But we are all different and so it could better to go with caution and leave for a week.

I can only tell you that my Rheumy team always say no, until antibiotics are finished and infection cleared.

no as the injections lower your immune system ..you need to stop til antibiotics and give your body a fighting chance
