I’ve just received my delivery, after 3 weeks of chasing it,only to be told that they where awaiting my prescription.I’m due my injection today so I rang my consultant, his secretary got Intouch with the hospital pharmacy.
The Pharmacist rang Sciensus and informed them that the prescription was issued on the 9th of feb for 6 months supply,I shortly received a phone call from them informing me the had just received my prescription and they would deliver it today.Apparently this is not unusual for this company I’m not impressed, but in saying this it’s the first hiccup in 8 yrs other then them not giving me a delivery time this has only happened since their change in name.

I’d had mega issues re a delivery driver being nasty two weeks ago and also some issues in the past. I just don’t think they have the amount of staff needed to deal with the phones and requests. That had nothing to do with the awful incidence I experienced though.
They’ve been alright on the phone to me lately. The manager apologised for the driver. The phone stuff was years ago when h@h. You are 47th in the queue when I phoned, so I’d never get through, then sending me letters saying I was not getting in touch with them!
The driver two weeks ago didn’t want to follow the contactless delivery rules and yelled. So I yelled back as he needed to know he can’t try bully customers. He was so patronising and nasty and intrusive I just couldn’t let him get away with this and tbh I’ve never raised my voice at anyone like that so you can tell how bad he was. He’d already yelled at me on the phone too. He told lies to his depot and Sciensus who told me he said I refused to come from upstairs and said I’d be down in an hour! What absolute rubbish. I’d been waiting downstairs near the back glass inner kitchen to porch door since 7.45am and he came at 11.10am. I’d also had a text at 7.55am saying ... you are next drop ... despite a text the day before saying 1150-1.50. All bonkers. Next drop was over 3 hours later,
That's frustrating. I have been lucky and found them really good on the whole, but when they didn't have my prescription last time they contacted me to sort it out for some reason. I can't write prescriptions, tell it to my doctor!
Exactly the same thing for me, im currently chasing my benepali. My consultant reissued my prescription 1st of April and they are saying they haven't got it
I’ve got the same issue with my benepali, was due delivery last week. They state they haven’t got prescription, when I chased the hospital they say it was issued end of March. When I mentioned this they agreed they had received it but it was still to be processed by their pharmacy. Thankfully I have a few spare injections from missing some previously. Still waiting for a delivery date. The app initially I quite liked, but they removed the section where you could add sharps boxes, and have to queue on the online chat to request now. It’s definitely gone downhill since they changed their name
I have had the same problem with sciensus. The issues were all down to them not having a prescription. It took me four weeks of tooing and froing between them and the hospital. I was without my medication for 4 weeks. They were very helpful when I was on the phone and May promises to sort things but nothing was ever sorted. The previous provider offered a much better service.
My sympathies to anyone suffering from delivery issues. It's so stressful having to chase vitally important meds with a company who are so hard to contact. I never had an issue with H@H but, since the name change I am very dissatisfied. No call to check stock, no call to check suitable date for delivery and this assumption that I have nothing better to do than stay home and eait on their convenience. Grrr
Sciensus are driving me insane. I have to chase up my medication delivery every single time without fail. Then I go through a cycle of 'I'll need to get someone to call you back tomorrow', no call ever materialises, I call back...and repeat this process many times.
It's bizarre, as when I was first prescribed the Imraldi jabs the company seemed to be very good. The nurse arrived, delivery was made and before I had my last jab a call would come through and arrange a suitable date for redelivery, followed by a text with a 2 hour delivery slot on the day.
But after maybe the third delivery things took a turn and I would run out of medication, chase them up and they usually blame the hospital prescription service. So I contacted the RA dept and they told me prescriptions run 6 months at a time and it's just a shady excuse. It's then I looked at their reviews on Google, the company then called 'Healthcare at Home' - literally thousands of 1 star reviews. I think you have done very well not to have had a problem for 8 years prior.
