I can't help you there but would suggest to be sure is to contact your hospital dept. I inject weekly Benipali and had to wait until I got a negative reading when I had covid. Hope you recover soon

What is benipli?

It's a type of biological pen injection which you do yourself weekly. Been on it 12 months and so much better. Retux didn't work for me

I've been on almost all of those is it embrel? Rituxan worked great for me but causes way too many infections because it works too well.

Benipali also known as Etanacept.

I guess I should of really put like I was asking when I should I should of made it more like a statement. Thank God I didn't start it I feel so much better already I am taking the Zpac right now Thank you the reply 😍

I’d phone your Rhematology Nurse. They will know. If you can’t get through try the Consultant’s Secretary..

I definitely will I guess I was asking what people did when they had it and was getting ready to start a new biological medication. Feeling so much better today Thank you 😍

Do get advice from you Rheumatology nurse or consultant. I think they will want to be absolutely sure the virus has cleared your system completely before you start your new biologic.

Thank you I'm going to wait a couple of weeks just thank God I didn't take it before because I've had the shots for about 10 days and wanted to wait until I felt better never even thinking I had COVID

Sorry I can't help. I would always suggest contacting rheumy. I hope your covid symptoms are mild and stay that way.

morning. I suspect they will do blood tests before u start. Due to chest infections I couldnt have Rituximab when it was due…I actually went 13 months and it was still working. Mayb ring RA helpline if u have one🤞

Thank you but I'm in the us and they don't do much of that here unfortunately

I had to wait 2 weeks after taking antibiotics before I started using benapali

Injections I would think when you get a negative reading 2 weeks is probably correct , ask the RA nurse, most gp surgeries no diddly squat about RA.

So I had covid right after I started cimzia and had to stop while sick obviating. My rheum said i had to be symptom free for 7 days and not on any antibiotics before starting again. I’m not sure if its the same with enbrel but hope this helps!

Not sure how to work these post.

But here it goes.my B cells are depleted from be on Rituximab for RA and also helped myasthenia gravis.I’m feeling just great my blood work is good. Was to have a treatment Nov.2022 told her I was feeling great so I did not have the Rituximab infusion. Was at my doctor Feb. 2023 and she wants to put on it again. Not sure sure what to do when I’m feeling so good. Before I could ask question she just got up and walked out.So just asking if other people are feeling good from Rituxan and if I should just take? Or if I could cut back the infusion.
