upcoming surgery

After 18 months I’ve been given a pre op appointment for surgery on my feet. The plan is to pop back in a toe joint that’s popped out & wire it back in.

Problem is I’ve forgotten most of the information & the pre op is now done by an app! No idea how long I’m going to be off my feet. Anyone had similar surgery?

Have a look at Versus Arthritis versusarthritis.org/about-a...

But ask them for specific advice - and can you have it in writing. Lots of hospitals do have written guidelines - they vary from one surgeon to another slightly. It is unreasonable to expect people to remember verbal instructions given some time ago!
