Biologics side effects

HiI am on Amgevita 40mg fortnightly amongst other things. Started in May this year.

My recent mammogram report showed irregular microcalcifications which are alarming for me.

(Previous mammogram reports where all clear).

My Rhemalogist asked me to stop taking the Amgevita until after I get a histology report

I will need a biopsy going forward to determine the nature of these calcifications and irregular tissue.

Does anyone else also share the same problem.

I really need some pep talk here. I am visiting my kids and really don't want to spoil their holiday. I am honestly terrified.

I can only biopsy next month now.

your rheumatologist is doing exactly the right thing by being ultra cautious. Microcalcification happens whether you are on biologics or not, so most likely has nothing to do with the Amgevita. And even if it does turn out to be something - which it really may well not be - then such an early stage that there are many effective treatments.
