Not posted on here for a while. I’ve today tested positive for covid for the third time in 3 months. I’ve had the occasional shopping trip and lunch out but I don’t work so not out or seeing people that often but doesn’t seem to take much for me to get infected. Each time I’ve not been overly ill with it, just a cold really thanks to the vacs but it’s so frustrating and the last time I tested for 17 consecutive days. I’m thinking of shielding again!
Anyone else struggling with this?
Thank you

I'm so sorry to hear this and it seems there is no rhyme or reason to this virus. I hope in time they can unlock how Covid affects us and fingers crossed a way forward. Which I know third time round is no use to you right now but just wanted to send you some support and hope it will pass quickly for you and not linger as previously. Take care and wishing you the best xx
I’ve been fortunate to catch covid only once at the beginning of this year which was like a bad cold. I’m now retired and so out and about most days without a mask. Guess I’ve been lucky so far .. or maybe it’s because I’m 5ft 11” and rise above other peoples lurgies 😃 Who knows, just hope my luck holds out. Hope you’re feeling better soon.
I ve had it three times as well. It’s been a bad year. If not flaring I ve had covid. The second bout was the oddest as I had mostly strange symptoms eg spots on my back and then a cardiac episode. This latest one was very short. Probably having prednisone didn’t help
I feel drained now at year end but am determined to keep plugging away and build up my immune. Going on holiday at beginning of Feb for some sunshine
