Neck injections

I'm having neck steroid injections in October. Has anyone had these injections and your results?

Yeah I had one a number of years ago. I was having terrible issues with my hips at the time and lower back but I needed a steroid injection either side of my spine in my neck too as it was quite swollen. I have to say it wasn’t very nice and quite painful even but I haven’t had the problem since to the same extent so was worth it. No pain no gain for me.

I had a steriod injection into my ankle a week ago , not very pleasant but it’s worked so worth a minutes discomfort

I've had a steroid injection under radiological guidance into the lower spine to reduce the swelling around the nerve roots. It was successful in releiving the agonising pain from the sciatic nerve, but not the rest of spinal pain. The spinal surgeon said it tends to be temporary but gives a chance for postural improvement and exercises to reduce the chance of recurrence but that he could repeat it - not more than three times a year!

Had steroid injections once into back of neck and back of lower head. It helped for a while!

I had an injection into my brain and I didn’t get very much as the brain has no pain resceptres nothing happened and I didn’t get the chance to say no lol.I also had an injection and that didn’t work, I won’t get that again as long as I live, lol and some people don’t don’t feel a thing lol lucky sods lol.
