I would ring 111 and ask them if you find the pain worse or different from before. If I've misunderstood your question and you are just asking about your eyes then I would try damp cotton wool pads.

If this pain is out of the blue, contact emergency services straight away. If you have not already done so.If like myself it's normal then you need to contact your doctor to talk about pain medication and what other treatments are available.

Depending on what medical conditions you have, there are many very effective methods of managing your pain.

More than anything it's important to know why you are in so much pain. Obviously if possible the best answer is to remove the reason for it.

If its something that can't be treated then there are ways of reducing / managing it. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

These flare ups are enough to make anyone panic, admitting it's to much in the first step in dealing with it.It's good to hear you are ok.

Many things might be out of our hands, but we can stack the cards in our favour. Eating healthier getting some exercise and making the most of the good days and not worry to much about the bad.

Taking the right vitamins makes a world of difference. Its as if our food is so lacking in nutrients our bodies can't function properly anymore. The slightest bug knocks us down.

Taking vitamin D is like breathing mountain air after living in smog.

A few years ago I kept on getting the same symptoms as having a heart attack, to the point where they put me in intensive care for the night. Turns out I've got a growth on the top on my spine that was pressing against the nerves causing the symptoms. Rather unsettling to say the least. Should of been used to it after so many years of living with a damaged spine.

It takes two weeks before your body can benifit from taking vitamin D. Even if they are quality ones. Multi vitamins are basically just a way of making money they offer very little benifits.Have you had a blood test done for vitamin D levels I thought I was fine but turned out I like many was very low. Its made such a huge difference to my health energy. Even managed to brush covid off in a few days after dubbing up on my dose. I take cholecalciferol the active form of vitamin D that gives an instant boost. Just don't take it in the afternoon/ evening you'll be awake all night.

If nothing else always a good idea to take to your doctor about diet / supplements

Paul, a sudden flare can come as a very unwelcome visitor, can't it! When things have been under control we can begin to take that for granted...but when it kicks back in, it does so with a vengeance. I hope that things will soon be back under control for you. Take care.
