Hi I have to supply 3 taxi quotes for the Access to Work team. Has anyone done this before? I am in London so are there any particular taxi firms I have to approach for quotes? Thank you in advance for any replies. Have a great weekend.

Hi I have done this. No particularly taxi firms to us but check they will work with access to work depending on how you are claiming money. Many have had issues getting paid so are reluctant was my experience. If you are claiming through work check if they have a taxi company use them. Hope that makes sense

I had to do this. I only had to give two quotes but it might have changed. I just googled taxi companies near me and called them, got the quotes for my journey to work and filled in the form. Had to get a receipt for every journey then claim it back at the end of each month.

Ask around your friends & people at work if they have a friendly reliable taxi firm they use, there is no need to tell them the reason you are asking…word of mouth is often the best way….but don’t go for too small a company….you need a firm with quite a few drivers to be 100% reliable.

If you mention your post code…somebody here maybe able to help.

If you get no luck there….try looking on line for local firms…..again no reason to mention the reason…just what you will expect of them….stressing reliability.

Good Luck.

Yes I have done this. I rang two local companies and asked for quotes. I did explain as I needed to know a taxi would be reliable at 8.00am to get me to work. A lot of taxi firms have commissions for schools so I needed to know there was consistency too and from work. They never let me down. Perhaps you could ask around for people's experience of local firms and look on line too.

Not what you're looking for?
