I have had RA for 12 months and is yet uncollected. I am due to start Orencia next week. I was wondering if if anyone had any experience/thoughts xxx

Hi there, I take abatacept(orencia) by weekly injection after trying several meds over the last 20 years. I can honesty it has given me more relief and fewer side effects than anything else I've tried. Hope it works well for you too.

Hi there, how long before you noticed an improvement in your pain, stiffness and swelling?

I'm changing to it after Christmas and looking forward to it. I've been on Benepali which has worked well but has to change.

Abatacept will be my next biologic I hope to start next year. I hope it works well/continues to for us all.

I have been having Abatacept infusions for the past 11years & it has controlled my RA very well. Like others I tried many other meds before Abatacept. I get the odd flare but apart from having a big flare after my 3rd vaccine it has controlled my RA very well with few side effects. Hope it goes well for you

Hi I started this in September and its been great. Its weekly and it doesn't hurt so yay.
