Advice on test results

So i had some blood test done and the results dont really tell me much i'm stressing and just want to know what they mean cant get in to my drs for a wk so if anyone knows or can explain these im due to start meds and im worried that it could effect me more if these results r showing high levels just want to kno if there normal just for pieace of mind

It is showing that you are positive for a marker for having rheumatoid arthritis (CCP) and have raised inflammation markers (CRP).

If you are about to start on drugs I presume you have been diagnosed with something?

So depending on what you have been diagnosed with then these results just confirm it. And suggest that the drugs could really help you.

Yh they said anxiety and fnd a chemical imbalance in my brain so they give me anti depressants for headaches

I did these private because they told me it was down to menopause and fnd this chemical inbalance they have given me nortripyline

Ok, that makes it clearer! You need to take these results to your GP and ask to be referred to a specialist.

Do you have pain in hands and feet and swollen joints by any chance?

Yep tired all time pain in my shoulders kness and back upper arms xx

As Helixhelix says, you need to see a rheumatologist with those results which suggest Rheumatoid Arthritis with active inflammation, but the ANA result is normal (good news!)

Thank you drs been fobbing me off saying it was menopause or anxiety pains i was like its not banging headaches too as well as pain from shoulder back knees ended up seeing a new neurologist he said its fnd which was due to chemical imbalance in my brain i'm still in doubt that it was fnd because the pain was always there not flaire ups i hope the drs listens this time but he'l have some excuse and think im mad and i was complaining because i was stressed & all i get is lets sort ur mental state out 🤨 thanks for the reply and info well wishing to everyone take care! Hiya Di01, welcome to the NRAS forum. As has been said, they are clearly showing the need for a referral to Rheumatology, especially if you have joint involvement.

Thanks i have a few high and low white blood cells but my dr says its stress that was causing my issues tbh i think he just thinks i like a moan but not been well for over 12 months hope now he takes note and doesnt say its all depression doesnt get i was in pain to him it was in my head he told me stop spending ya money on private test because i had a few other test done this cause me £150 the one b4 i had done was £80 one b4 that was £120 all these test shown i had something but he just goes ur body is going thru the menopause all these test ur having done will be linked like my blood test i had 4 high white blood count one high red and one low red but he just goes there only under or over by a little except for eos level thats well high and over last few months gone up i changed drs a few months back because they wasnt listening and now this one seems the same feel like im constanlty wasting my time i just want to give up but thanks for info & listening take care now!
