Dosing - third primary / booster

Is the dose the same for the ‘Third primary Vaccine’ and the Booster ? Does it depend on vaccine type and does anyone know the doses?

I believe they are giving another vaccine for the booster. Don't take my word for it though get it checked out.xxxxxx

As far as I know they are just the same apart from you get an extra one in 6mths if you qualify

I believe if you get Moderna as a boosting vaccine they give half the dose apparently and I think that is what may be confusing to some re dosage.

Yes when I had mine they said it was a third primary dose and I wouldn’t have a booster in six months because I was on Mxt 15 mg. The qualifying dose is over 20mg.

It’s the same dosage. I checked the paperwork they gave me. I had the Pfizer after having had two initial Astra Zeneca. The Modena I think would be used for either /or as well.

It’s exactly the same dose for Phizer and Astra Zeneca if used (but mRNA (ie Phizer or Moderna are the preferred type for both boosters and 3rd doses). The only one that’s different is Moderna, a third primary vaccination should be a full dose but a booster a half dose.
