Hi all. Got RH and pulmonary fibrosis and now nodules in LLL and pleura. Cancer. Now on chemo and feel not too bad. All RH drugs stopped so pain awful. Anyone else in this situation. Maxed on codeine and a little oromorph. Not enough. Anyone have any suggestions as I had steroid jag in bottom and 1 last week in shoulder which had little effect. What is the answer. Not more morphine as I am a shaky wreck. Thanks all for any advice.

I'm sorry to hear that Agnes. I can't help I'm afraid but just wanted to wish you all the best with your treatment and hope you do find good pain relief. xx
Oh Agnes, you do have a lot on your plate don't you, I’m sorry. I'm not giving the help you're pleading for I'm afraid, I can only suggest that you make an appointment with your GP to see if he can suggest more effective pain relief. Remember it doesn’t need to be traditional pain relief, like the two you're taking, there are other options used for other issues as well that may be considered. Take care.
Thank you. Tried 1 but unfortunately the bed seemed to have a life of it's own in the dark. Bit of a hoot. Family thought it was hilarious.😂😂 Can only keep begging for steroids as seems to maybe be the answer. Don't see how they expect you to get better going cold Turkey with Rh drugs after 12 years on methotrexate and benapali.
Have you thought of acupuncture for your shoulder…I am one of the lucky ones it worked for after breast cancer. The advantage is if it doesn’t work,,,..99% of the time no harm done,
Oh Agnes I'm sorry you've had that diagnosis and that you're suffering without your RA drugs whilst having treatment. I hope you can get more effective pain relief soon. 🤞
Thinking of you Agnes. It's one of those times when we wish we could help, or say something helpful, but the truth is we can't. God Bless and sending a warm virtual hug.
Hello Agnes, I am off my biologic again for three months during cancer treatment. The second tie this year. Luckily I no longer work, so I can take it easy. That helps a lot in preventing pain occurring. Unfortunately I can't recommend anything to you. I hope you find some way of easing your pain.
