Lloyds Pharm. Clinical Homecare - medication delivery issues and contact?

This company seems to be avoiding communications with NHS patients who are waiting for delivery of critical RA medication.

It is a situation that is causing distress to people who don't cope well, indeed often suffer more when under stress, especially when that is directly related to their health.

Update - I spoke with a very helpful lady at LPCH who informed me that there are supply problems which, LP are working to resolve. There are likely to be some delays but they hope to keep deliveries as close to their delivery dates as possible. Mine is arranged for Monday, but is subject to LP receiving their supplies.

It does feel like they are avoiding proper communication with patients. The text message that they sent is pretty sketchy on information but they also say we will be getting letters by post. They also say that the hospitals have been informed. I've left a message on my rheumatology helpline to see if they have more specific information. I will post their response if they call me back.

I finally managed to get to speak to someone. They have arranged a delivery for me on Monday, subject to availability!! They are having supply problems and doing their best to sort it out. Pencilled in my next delivery too… Very helpful and informative lady. I hope the supply problems are soon resolved.

Unfortunately as we read in the press, medication deliveries are being held up to pharmacies because of transport problems….they put their orders in & just have to wait for it to be delivered before they can dispense it.It’s not their fault…..I guess as soon as they get the transport issue sorted out things will get back to normal.

In the meantime you could try asking your doctor if there is another available drug that might help you.
