I emailed Birmingham University last week for an update and this is the reply, I hope it helps
The OCTAVE trial is still recruiting, and the full results will be reported once the trial is completed, which is likely to be towards the end of the year. Nevertheless, we recognise the importance of the results of this trial to many people in your position and for this reason, we are have releasing an early analysis of the OCTAVE results. These analyses are happening now and we will be releasing a pre-print reporting this interim results in the next few weeks and will make a summary of these interim results publicly available on our trial webpage birmingham.ac.uk/octave

No I was offered CA, but my local hospital is so much nearer as I am just south of Leeds now and just out of the Leeds postcode area, and my rheumy team all came from Leeds. I have been to CA several times for an RA group which sadly folded a few years back. x
Right I see. YesYork is 5 mins away but was undiagnosed there for 10 years by same Rheumatologist until my GP asked me to go privately out of York so went to Leeds & was diagnosed at first appointment. I started with sero negative which changed somewhere along the way to sero positive. But that was over 20 years ago & how I ended up in Leeds. York has several new Consultants these days who have offered me to return to York ( several I know from CA) but have decided to stay with Leeds at least for now.
It would make life a lot simpler if the dots were all joined up though.
Thanks for the update. Bit annoyed my hospital is listed but when I contacted the rheumatology department a couple of weeks ago enquiring about trials, I was told they're not doing any!
Thanks for that Dave. I took part in the study. I’m a patient at the QEH and they sent me a letter. I was double jabbed at that point but you could take part if you had only just had your 2nd jab. I will be very interested to see the interim results.
