For information. I just read an article on Sky News app about the above study. Going to recruit people with certain conditions, including RA, to see how good their response is to the vaccines. It’s something I’ll be very interested in hearing about...

Hi Ginny, just to say I've started this trial, got my vaccine last Tuesday. Rheumatology Researcher at Gartnavel Glasgow got in touch last week and explained it in depth. Not sure if I'm allowed to post contact info and the study details..i will check and post the info later today. Think they're still looking to recruit people.

Yes, I've just watched it. Not sure what the reference to 17% was all about? Did you catch it? I've been feeling so positive since I got the oxford jab three weeks ago, but realizing it might not be quite as effective due to RD is something I've tried not to think too much about. Do hope the research can bring preliminary goodish news.🤞

They said it was an arbitrary figure and talked about "media hype" I felt. They didnt seem concerned but foing the numbers will be helpful . I posted a link

They seemed just to be doing a figures exercise and a bit cross at media hype in my opinion
