Just tested positive for Covid. Have RA and taking Methotrexate (Metoject 12.5mg) and Biologic Adalimumab(Hyrimoz). Not feeling to good. Just wondered if anyone else has experience of Covid infection that they could share.

Sorry to hear and hope you’ll soon be on the mend. 🙏🏻 Can you ask your rheumy for advice regarding your meds?

I didn't feel too good with it either! Was in bed for a full week just felt like a bad flu. But it's now day 9 and I feel a bit stronger today. Hope you feel better soon, just plenty of rest and keep your fluids up.

Good to hear that. I feel quite worried - even though I have had two jabs I’m not sure how well they have worked. I feel dreadful, and no sign of improvement for 3 days. You reply is slightly reassuring🤞

I was double jabbed as well and like you I was worried as well cause I honestly did feel very ill. I honestly don't remember feeling so bad before, but it was a full week before I showed signs of improving. Once my fever started going down I think that was the turning point. Like even today I still feel quite weak on it so I don't think I will be ready to go back to work this week.

So sorry to hear that you're unwell with covid, even after having the 2 jabs! I'm on Rituximab.

My experience of covid back in March 2020 was similar. Very weak, fatigue, cough and all the other symptoms. The weakness and fatigue lasted a good two weeks, but I can reassure you that I'm back to 'normal' now!

Just make sure you get plenty of rest and fluids and healthy fresh food. And when you have a good day (in the 1st few week) don't over do it, that was my mistake and it just put me back again!

Wishing you a full recovery soon. 😊 x

Had Covid December 2020 before any jabs. Im on 22.5mg methotrexate. Was on the shielding list and thought omg will I be ok. The first week was the worst bad flu, and then very tired for a few weeks. My temperature was normal and no cough whatsoever.

I believe for me what helped was taking Vitamin C plus K2 drops so my levels are good. I also take Echinacea drops to protect my upper respiratory system which I swear by in the Autumn/Winter months.

I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you feel better soon. It might be an idea to check with rheumy about the drugs you are taking whilst you are poorly. I only know that I would have to stop mine (Baricitinib) until I was better, but all drugs are different.

I had it last October. Had 11 days in bed followed by quite a long recovery. I was told to take paracetamol every 6 hours, set my alarm clock, and that helped keep my temperature and symptoms under some level of control. I would speak to Rheumatology and/or GP for best advice re meds. Rest and drink fluids and I hope you will be much better soon.

I hope you are feeling better soon.If you take a turn for the worse don’t delay in getting medical help.

I’ve not experienced it as I’m still shielding.

Best wishes x
