Cimzia heart palpitations

Anyone experienced heart palpitations on cimzia

I have been on Cimzia since 2014 and don't recall having palpitations. However, in 2019, when I was at the GP, she picked up on the fact that my pulse was irregular and I had an ECG straight away. It turned out that I had borderline Atrial Fibrillation so I was put on medication for it. I did speak to my consultant but there was no suggestion of a connection with the Cimzia and I am still on it. It would be worth checking with your Rheumatologist as , of course, we all react differently.

Sorry- I should have said, I also have high blood pressure ( well controlled) and have a family history of heart problems x

Hi thanks foe the reply I have high blood pressure that is controlled as well just wondered as these flutters are getting worse

Probably worth getting it checked out. I used to get them before I started Cimzia but put it down to stress. Wishing you well x🐰
