Patient organisation briefing notes for MPs

Hi to everyone- I haven’t written anything on the forum for quite some time due to severe illness in last 6 months including emergency surgery on Xmas day and sepsis but I have been following you all and now feeling stronger and better

Like everyone I am very concerned about government announcement and today I have written to my MP to highlight our plight and raise awareness of this document which all MPs should receive

Asking him to raise as much awareness of these issues and concerns as possible via parliamentary channels.

Other people could do the same if they want to also it is very interesting read too

Thank you for sharing. I had thought of writing to my MP and this has encouraged me to do so.

I hope you don't mind but I've shared this on the Lupus UK forum too as many on there are immune compromised.

Hopefully it will help to empower us - I am going to contact our local tv news channel as well as local councillor who supports mental health issues

Huw Pym, the BBC reporter was on 5 Live with me at the start of the pandemic. I still have his email address. I might get in contact.

Just noticed when clicking on the Versus Arthritis link in the letter that it doesn’t work. Hope they fix this, don’t need to give politicians an excuse not to read this🤔
