Hi. I have a large garden where the weeds grow while I'm watching . I use a chair to weed and dig which takes a bit of pressure off but like you I do it for too long and then suffer but I'm learning to take regular breaks. Good luck. Sylve. X

Apply for PIP and use it to pay a gardener to help 🤣 or win the lottery? Mwah x
Hard though isnt it, do a little at a time xx great idea on the chair
Yes I have a stool to sit on with arms so that I can get up. Awkward sometimes to reach all weeds but do as much as I can. It's good for me, I am sure. 😀
Much sympathy. Luckily we have some raised borders which make them accessible but the others are very difficult. I may have to find a gardener as it's getting away from us
My neighbour said on Sunday "Do you ever stop weeding?" and I replied "Only when they don't grow." I quite enjoy sitting on my gardening stool for short periods pulling up annual weeds. It gets me out and it is gentle exercise. I have tools which are suitable for my poorly hands too.
BUT I do need to be careful of how long I do it for. It is so tempting when there are lots of weeds to 'just do a bit more'. And that leads to disaster as I then can't do anything for days.
I have a rescue giant rabbit who sees to all the gardening. No weeds! Have to box off any flowers from him but he’s great at keeping the lawn short as well 😂 He’s 12 now. Wasn’t impressed with the snow but still trimmed the bamboo for me!
Oooohhh idea for us will see if hubby likes the idea of a rabbit for garden as a new type of trimmer.
Too many doc leaves for rabbits in our garden for it to be safe so this one on the pile of cant dos! x
Hi. I'm n OAP but I use wrist supports which helps but I just enjoy being outside so I just get on with it.😍
