"The British Biosimilars Association says there are at least 20 more biosimilars coming in the next five to ten years".

In just the 11 years I’ve had RA the number of available drugs has grown like topsy...and its barely 20 years since the first one started to be used. Hard to believe, but happy that it happened!

(I won’t add to Daily Mail’s profit by clicking on the link so if anything other than what Marion said do tell!)

Your mention of growing like Topsy made me smile. I wonder how many, shall we say, under 65s would get the reference.

Okay, you're a stripling, but I'm sure there's a cut-off. Maybe I should have guessed 60. The people I mainly remember using that expression were my parents, now long dead. Do younger generations read Uncle Tom's Cabin?

Bet they don't. It would be part of today's 'cancelled' culture 😀 Nit-picking, I know, but I recall it was 'grewed like topsy'.

I've had RA for exactly the same length of time. I was on MTX for years. Stopped a couple of years ago as I was in remission. Now have an appointment for review so we shall see what's on offer.

Thankyou, Ive been on Humira Adalimumab since 2011 for RA, I didn't realize it was so expensive. I assume I went onto a cheaper version a year ago called Amgevita. I've been fine and it works brilliant for me.

Fantastic news! Thank you for posting it.
