Yes . I started this in December. Initially brilliant. In fact I wrote on here how well I was doing . Had to stop for 2 weeks late feb/ March due to something else . Restarted but not working as well but I’m so much better than this time last year. I have had no side effects at all .

I'm waiting to start this medication. Only thing I'm unsure of, is the pausing of it if you have an infection. I had quite a lot of infections on benepali, so it will be interesting however I cannot wait to receive my delivery & get started. I've read lots of good things about this one 🙂

Hi. Have been on Baricitinib 4mgs daily for over two years. Best of all the drugs I’ve been prescribed over the past 30 years and I’ve had all the biologics prior to this Jak inhibitor. It works in a different way and has certainly made life with RA a lot more bearable. I also am on 7.5mgs prednisolone so between them I am functioning relatively normally. It worked immediately, not a single side effect (I started taking it at night just in case of nausea and have continued to do so) and the best bit of taking this is that you can stop it if necessary and it leaves the bloodstream really fast. Do hope it works as well for you - definitely worth a try. There’s lots of other posts if you plumb Baricitinib into the search box. Good luck!

Been on it for 10 weeks. The difference in my condition is almost miraculous. I have now been told I can stop taking methotrexate as pretty much all my swelling and pain has gone. I’ve not had any side effects and feel like my old pre-RA self.

I am very happy to hear you are doing so well on Baricitinib. I hope it continues for a very long time.

I am on Simponi now for over 4 months and am not doing well. My doctor said I might try Baricitinib. I was on Xeljanz for 3 months and had to stop due to side effects, so I am hoping that, since this is another JAK inhibitor. I might not have the same side effects to this one.

I tried all sorts of meds with two incidents of anaphylaxis along the way. I had almost given up. We are all different but hopefully you will find the med that suits you too x

Thank you so much. I guess we just have to keep trying until we find something that works, but each new med is can be scary until we see how we react.
