Imraldi not Inderal

I mistakenly asked for advice yesterday about my biologic meds. I am having covid vaccination tomorrow and due to inject IMRALDI the same day. Do I inject my Imraldi before/after the vaccine or leave it a day. I also inject MTX every friday.

Asking my Rheumatologist is not an option. I've never met him as he is quite new (over a year since I saw anyone) and the nurse helpline is often answered by Health Assistants who are not great. I tried to speak to Rheumy a few weeks ago and he was on holiday.

My original Rheumy, who was excellent, now lives and works in Australia. He was there when I was diagnosed and I thought I had struck gold with a doc like him. Just my luck.

Speaking to GP is impossible. I have tried many times.

Please search nras.org.uk advice there. The general advice from NRAS is take your RA meds unless its Rituximab then they will adjust timings. Also the magnifying search bar above gives advice

There is now more detailed guidance from the American College of Rheumatologists, re MTX and JAK inhibitors as well as Rituximab. Nut also emphasises it is an individual decision.

When I had my jab, I took a list of my meds and gave it to the person who injected me. He was very knowledgeable and asked when I next injected my biologic. Told him not for 4 days, so he said that was fine and to go ahead. To be honest, I was impressed that he knew about biologics as GP's don't. Mind you I might just have been lucky.
