Vaccine call-up

Morning all, I just got my vaccination call-up today and am booked in for Friday morning. I'm just on methotrexate and hydroxychlorquine and have been put in Group 6, so I was pleasantly surprised as I didn't realise they'd moved on to our group here in SurreyHeartlands area - seems to be some discrepancies from area to area but I am certainly not complaining! Feeling mildly apprehensive about side-effects, as I seem to be a sensitive soul for these things, but I know it'll be worth it - I'll report back!

My 17 year old had his this morning. He has silent exercise induced asthma. 😂barely using his inhalers these day ... exercise what’s that ??? 😂

Got mine Friday I’m a little nervous I must say

I had my first vaccination three weeks ago and had no side effects . I am on Methotrexate and Benepali injections and am CEV. I have been extremely careful with whomI have come into contact with since last March being very nervous about catching this dreadful Covid. I was very pleasantly surprised today to receive the result of a blood sample I gave in a research study in December that I had positive antibodies to Covid. I have been very well ,(apart from having a pacemaker inserted last Easter)and have had no symptoms of Covid at all .Good luck to you and I hope every goes as well as it did for me.

I'm booked in for Friday too . I'm on infliximab and methotrexate . So fingers crossed for both of us 🤞

I had mine in half term, also on methotrexate. I had a flare, my first one since diagnosis so initially I thought that I'd slept badly. After a week the pain has gone. I hope you don't have side effects but be prepared, I wasn't.

Got my 1st vaccine today no side effects yet not even a sore arm . But il see how tomorrow goes .

Good luck with your vaccine 👍I had mine last week, am on Methotrexate. Had absolutely no side effects at all, not even a sore arm.

Friday night head was thumping , hip went sore and right hand swollen up . Up at 3 o'clock took paracetamol it calmed it down . Not as bad yesterday and didn't need paracetamol today .👍

Well, I have a sore arm but that's all so far - we'll see how it feels tomorrow!

I very had thumping headache Friday night , sore hip now and could feel my hand swelling up . Took paracetamol and it calmed it down . No sore arm and hip and hand not too bad now . Glad I got it .
