Update on PIP appointment

UPDATE: I applied at the end of last summer but today I had my appointment, after the previous one was cancelled, and despite being quite anxious it went well. Not saying that I’ll qualify for anything though! I was asked if I minded a trainee listening in which of course I didn’t. The call lasted for about an hour and a half and we went through the whole form. I was then able to give additional and updated information at the end. MonsieurPetitPois said afterwards, hearing me talk about my worst days to someone else really brought it home to him how even he doesn’t always appreciate my daily struggles. They said that it could take up to 8 weeks to get a response but it could be sooner 🙏🏼🤞🏼

Hopefully sooner 🤞🏻 Phew, that’s a long phone call and well done to you. 💗

🤞🏻.. shocking that we have to be interrogated.. an hour and half !!! You must be exhausted x

When I applied and wrote down everything and reread I cried it made realise that I’m no longer the person I use to be.

🤞🏾 I’m glad it went well🤗

Don’t forget you can get a copy of the assessors report - give it a week and then call PIP helpline to request a copy - it’s called the PA4.

I’m still waiting to hear if I’m going to be assessed on paper or telephone assessment🙏🏾

Thank you Tracy and apologies for the delay in replying. Since my assessment I’ve taken a dip both physical and mental. I’m in so much pain and my medication has been causing so many unwanted side effects. I hope that I hear soon from PIP. I did get a text two days later to say that my application was with them.
