Hi everyone, was really happy to be getting the Covid jab yesterday midday and hubby had it the same time well he got bad tummy pains after half an hour and indigestion then it went away then I also got really bad pains followers by umpteen trips to the loo and this lasted all night and continuing today I had stopped Barasitinib for a couple of days but am now taking it again so just wondering if anyone has had any reaction like this.?

I would think it's just coincidence or stress at having the vaccine. Xx

I know when I've gone for jab but dudnt know I had eaten something bad for me or I got over excited etc I get a poorly gut. However you might be doing them a favour by telling your GP and they will do a thing called "yellow carding " where they tell the medicines bureau of possible side effects. So of lots of people got it it would add to it maybe being a side effect to be aware of. So far it's been a sore arm and feeling a bit hot for a day. Tummys not yet been mentioned yet. Hope you both feel better soon but great news in a few weeks you will have a lot of protection against this awful virus.

Now I want to ask you a question, did you get an invite by letter or telephone ( asking as I'm lucky to get 1 postal delivery a week at the moment)

Ah that's great !! I hope it's not long till mine lol. I checked the publically available " green book" and tummies definitely not yet a side effect but yes report it xxx but rest up and fab news!!

I get a dodgy gurgly tum even when I’m going for a routine appointment in normal time. I think too the stress of having the vaccines got some could cause an upset tum.
