Shoulder pain advice please

In occasionally get this especially in morning or evening.Any advice please. Am on MXT and prednisone 5mg. Was on 3G prednisone . The hands hurt a bit at the outer side

It is always a good idea to keep your medical team informed of your progress. Do you have a rheumatology specialist nurse to discuss this with? It sounds as if you still have some activity going on and you might need an increase in dose or additional medication?

Thanks love, I will call the team, as well been stressed about my mums illness, could have contributed, been well for sometime

Sounds as if the stress you've been going through recently could well have caused a flare! As old-timer has said, I think it'd a good idea to contact Rheumatology and see what can be offered as these symptoms certainly sound like the disease is more active. Hopefully maybe a short increase in steroids or something can get things under control. I hope things get easier for both you and your mum. Xxx

Hi. Best let your doctor or specialist know. They can advise you best how to manage the pain, suggest other treatments, check your blood test results. It depends on what is causing the pain. Many of us with AIs have more than on condition. X
