Covid Vaccine

I take methotrexate 20mgs and Benapali weekly and i am having the covid vaccine tomorrow. Has anyone else had the vaccine who is on these meds and if so did you have any adverse reactions?

I doubt I’ll be called anytime soon. I don’t work on the front line but am CEV. My meds are Rtx and Mtx, so I can’ t help you but hopefully someone else can or knows of someone. I’m sure all will be good and let us know how it went.

I haven’t as yet but my nieces, who are nurses have had it - no adverse reactions at all.

Neither have RA, but both have thyroid issues and take various meds - both well.

It doesn't look from present evidence as though you are any more likely to get adverse effects on those medications. Lucky you to be getting the vaccine!

Good luck Sally I am sure we shall less anxious and restrained after the vaccination but of course still taking precautions 😊

I had the COVID vaccination a week ago, no adverse symptoms other than a slight soreness at the injection site, it lasted a day or so. I use metoject 20ml weekly.
