Enbrel injection

Hi all i inject Enbrel into my stomach which is the best way stood up or sat down..

I do both first time try sitting down just to steady yourself eventually you will do it with out thinking.

Take out of the fridge for an hour before pop under your armpit for about 15 mins to warm through good fat pinch skin taught all this will stop it stinging.good luck let’s us know how you get on.

I use my thigh no problem and easier to control.

If similar to Benepali I found the thigh stung more and tummy no pain but warming the pen up was the huge MUST!

I always use my thigh as less sensitive there I find, but also if you sit down you have a bit more flesh around the midriff (well I do anyhow!!) x

Hello, I have always (10 years) injected in my thigh. Sometimes it stings, sometimes not. I could never bring myself to inject in my stomach.

Thankyou for your reply, I'm the same as you I've been on the embrel sringe for 20 years I've just gone onto the embrel pen and believe it or not it doesn't sting half as much in my tummy, I rotate it between my thighs and my tummy that works great for me.Thanks again for your help.
