I’ve not received mine yet but had to chase it last time 🤷‍♀️ The only thing I can see that’s different to before is that those people who live with someone who is clinically extremely vulnerable don’t have to follow the guidelines for shielding so they can go to work etc as normal. The get out clause that a lot of business will use is that they’re guidelines and not law so it’s still confusing. One part says one thing and then it says work from home or don’t work at all. I can only say that it won’t change a thing for me I’m still shielding but as the sun is shining I might go for a walk probably to the end of the driveway which is about as far as I could make it lol.

Yes I had to call gp last time and this time . But I would like it official for future treatments

That was why I originally posted about this in April and I had to chase it up as felt/feel it will be needed for a future vaccine. I had to ask my BUPA respiratory consultant to write to the rheumy to confirm why I needed to be included as a rheumy nurse denied me going on the clinically extremely vulnerable list before in April and argued with me about Rtx and he wasn’t even a biologics expert. 🤨 My nurse wasn’t being allowed to make calls. So this time I’ll write to my GP as well and email/copy them the previous letter from my respiratory consultant. I don’t mind being proactive and organising things as I usually do all this kind of thing, but the fault before was with the stroppy general rheumy nurse.

I believe I did.... very similar in content to the first that I received some months ago

Two significant differences..... the previous one thanked me for following their advice and not associating with the husband with whom I have lived in the same house in the property in which we both live! How on earth do they know what we have or have NOT been up to?

The earlier letters were signed only as 'Matt' ( = best friend) which I found somewhat difficult to accept after a formal letter.

The register changed in the recent email when it was more appropriately and formally signed as Matt Hancock

That’s so funny really made me laugh 😂. I’m extremely clinically most vulnerable because of my immune system being in my boots and flagged up as red zone whenever I have my immunoglobulins tested. But I think my GP just looks at lack of rheumy treatment and ignores the rest.
