Firstly thank you to you all for your kind and positive messages.
On Tuesday I phoned for a appointment or phone consultation with a regular gp not a locum, needed to outline my problem with receptionist who was understanding undoubtedly upset and sympathetic.
Doctor who I wanted to speak to was on phone duty that morning which was a plus. Phone call came within 90 minutes from phoning. I explained my results to the doctor and that the Colorectal consultant was writing over the weekend, i told the doctor I was scared, and outlined I had lost 2 of my brothers, he asked whether I was sleeping which I haven’t done for a long time. Doctor said he was not waiting for any letter that he would be doing a urgent referral that morning to the cancer unit that I would hear within 2 weeks, was taken back as I thought the referral would had gone to the Gastroenterologist who deals with the Pancreas. Because it is a tumour they need to be 100% that it is not cancer.
Best wishes to you all
