Are you waiting for about 10-15 seconds after the second click of the pen, when i first started my benepali i made the mistake of not holding it for long enough.

Yes sometimes even longer. You hear the click then wait. Been on pen injections for more than five years and only Benepali leaking. Thank you for replying xx

No I haven’t had that happen. If it’s just the one injection maybe it’s a faulty one? Otherwise I’d check you’re keeping the pressure on the pen the full amount of time, I find this hard and sometimes think I’m not going to get the full dose but it’s never leaked. I have had faulty pens though.

I do keep pressure on it clicks then wait 15 secs or longer take off leg and liquid on top of leg. It’s more than once it’s happened just trying to see if anybody else has it. You said u had faulty pens before what happens to yours Thank you

Not being funny but you are waiting for 15 seconds after the second click aren’t you? The faulty ones I had didn’t do the second click just the first. I sat there for ages waiting 😂

I had this a few times but nurse said its fine as long as its just a drop. But i sometimes end up injecting a nerve then it bleeds. I usually leave it for few seconds after second click. Please dont worry so much xx

I've had problems with the pens they either don't work or simply jam. Not sure which but not impressed at all. It seems to be pot luck and I've used other pens never had this type of problem.

I’ve been on the pens six months and no problem so far. I remove the pen straight after the second click...not advised to wait by rheumy nurse.

My nordimet says to wait only two more seconds after the second click.

Mtx is different to benepali, it’s 15 seconds after the second click 😊

That’s a long time to have to wait when you have a phobia 😏I forgot to count when I did it this week so the nurse had to tell me to let go 😂
