I have inflammatory arthritis and will start Benepali treatment soon. Has it been successful for people and does it cause weight gain?

I’m on the original drug Enbrel (Benepali is the biosimilar of this) and it works extremely well and hasn’t caused weight gain.

With some people it can be nearly instantaneous. For me it was not! I, and my rheumy, were about to throw in the towel when I got to week 11 without any change. But at the end of week 12, which was to be my last dose, it worked! We are all different....

If you put benepali into the search box and filter for NRAS then posts about it will come up. I’ve been on it 2 years now and didn’t put on any weight and it has been really good for me. 🤞🏻 for you.

It was a gradual improvement over the weeks for me, around 4-6 weeks before I noticed any improvement. We are all different in the way we react so you may feel improvements sooner 🤞🏻

I am so hoping it will work, I've been on methotrexate for a year and a half, with prednisolone, with little improvement and a much pain. Thank you, fingers crossed!

Worked after a couple of weeks for me without any weight gain. Was on it for maybe 3 years before needing a change.

Hi GerardinaI have been on Benepali for quite a few years. It has been amazing .

With me it took about 4 weeks to get a hold and after that it just got better. I have not noticed any weight gain due to Benepali.

I hope it works for you as good as it does for me . Give it time as we are all different .

Hi Geraldine - I was dubious about Benepali at first. I am happy to say I have had few side effects, if any. It is definitely helpful in my case and I have not gained any weight. I do try to exercise every day because sitting still just makes things worse in my humble opinion! Good luck.

I have been on methotrexate 3 yrs try benepali and in 3 weeks I noticed a difference couldn’t live with out it good luck
