Sarilumab

Hi, I am due to start taking Sarilumab next week, and am wondering if anyone is on this and how they have found it? I know it's still a fairly new drug so a bit anxious! Thankyou

Thank you, I did a search but most seem to be over a year ago, just wondering if any more recent experiences are out there!

Hi, How are you getting on with Sarilumab? I might go onto Tocilizumab, but I'm reading a lot about weight gain - which worries me big time!

Hi, been doing ok on Sarilumab, a few ups and downs with white blood cells dropping from time to time, but recover again! No weight issues and seems to be controlling my RA pretty well for now! Are you on Sarilumab and considering a change to Tocilizimab?

I've been offered Tocilizumab and I'm worried about weight gain. I was wondering if I should ask for Sarilumab because they're very similar.

Hello there, a friend of mine is on Tocilizumab, she hasn't had any weight gain/weight issues. I'm on Kevzara and haven't got any weight gain either, it took months to start working though but it seems I finally got there now 😅 My rheumy says there's no real difference between them. He suggested Kevzara rather than Actemra simply because you inject it every other week and not every week (he knows I prefer not to have to deal with my meds too much 😅). All the best, Christine xx
