Ms-D profile image
Ms-Dβ€’ in reply toallanah

Steroid hurts but rheumy told me to taken benepali for few more weeks and if no better then change to a new biologic. No swelling today which sucked but tender joints. Mentioned something about arthritis and also a sensory pain so nerve issue. Just annoyed.

allanah profile image
allanahβ€’ in reply toMs-D

He called 6pm!,said I'm can gave a steroid jab and TCZ monday . Also he considers me very high risk of covid so suggests I continue " shielding" but maybe see 1 or 2 in my garden...... till vaccines !! 😬πŸ₯Ά

im so drugged up that i cant even walk. My knees, elbows and hands have joined in too. Been in tears and just feel so helpless and feel im ruining my daughters break by not being able to go out or do much during this pandemic x

So understand mine have been like this as well as other joints this week. The humidity plays havoc. Is it still humid where you are? Good luck tomorrow x

down in sunny wembley its very sticky. Promised rain all day but had about 30 mins all day. Cooler than past week but its killing me. I almost fell over getting up from sofa as knees buckled. Get steroid tomoz but hope they sort my biologic out x

I hope all goes well tomorrow. I couldn’t walk the last few days skin felt like it would split open and no mobility in my ankles. Humidity dropped here over night and I’m so much better can walk only slight swelling after pains . What a difference the weather makes. 🀞🏻for tomorrow x

Thank you. This heat has been horrible. I am new to this so being hit will feet like a baby elephant was a shock to me. To go with that my knees are pretty sore too. Might get daughter to do a rain dance lol.

The heat is horrible, it has really impacting on me and my joints too. I am fairly new to RD, been diagnosed for a year and still tweaking meds but appreciate there are people much worse of than me. Bring on the cooler weather. x

Thank goodness you have an appointment tomorrow, looks so painful.

Take care x

This heat is playing havoc with us all I think. My feet are swollen and very sore. Keep them elevated when you can and put something cool on them

Hello Ms-D I used to suffer badly with swollen ankles and

Feet, I bought a bed with a remote control that lifts the bottom of the bed and the top, as soon as I get into bed with my swollen feet and ankles I put the bottom of my bed up, within a couple of hours I can feel the relief in my feet when I move them , haven't got that awful tight feeling. We have a double bed, 2 singles, put together , but can work independently, so I don't disturb my husband when I move my side of the

bed. Good luck 🌻
