Swollen foot and leg

Hiya everyone, just a quick question. My left foot is swollen and it seems to be going up my leg to my knee. It's been like this for a few weeks now. Should i be concerned.

If your leg/calf is hot and swollen, with skin feeling tight and red then best to go to the doctor tomorrow as it could be an early sign of a clot. Unlikely as doesn't start in foot, but best to be careful if your calf is showing signs. Otherwise it could just be a result of the heat.

Hi Jaqi, I would definitely see my doc.. although doubt it is heart related but don't want to take a chance it could be a blood clot or just a side effect of some medication...swelling going up toward knew needs to be seen as soon as possible.

Be careful you haven't got an infection. I had this from my groin down and it was cellulitis - an infection under the skin. Thankfully it missed my knee replacement but i ended up in hospital on a drip of antibiotics and 2 ulcer scars on my shin. I have also had it all over my face. Please go get checked out. All the best xxxx
