Heard today in Wales Shielding paused from 16th August....YES !! just to have the choice back . Not quite sure if or when I'll pop out but hey definitely a step in right direction plus the Suns out 🌻🌞

There's light on it's way...when you feel ready to just take little steps at first as you might feel a mixture of things, liberation, joyful, exciting, overwhelming, a bit daunting or tearful. Take your time and go at your pace. Sending some supportive wishes x

Take your time when you decide it feels ok for you to venture out. Maybe something achievable for the first time just to get your confidence. I took a short drive, no stopping off just to see how I felt. Take care x

I think it will definitely be a real mixture of emotions. I also think you lose a bit of confidence when you haven't been out for a bit. I'm sure it will quickly return though. Baby steps and all that ........😊

Not fair you've had some sun out day - murky and dull all day here again. Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

I live in Wales and will wait and see how things pan out over the coming weeks. Hopefully the infection rate will go lower, but if it stays as is then I still don't feel it's safe enough for me to go into shops or other enclosed spaces. My wife is not shielding but has been self isolating with me, and if there is no increase in infections by August 16th then she might go into local shops but will take precautions, including wearing a mask. The Welsh government, mistakenly in my opinion, has yet to make it compulsory for Welsh people to wear masks in shops as the UK government has done.

I won't be going in any enclosed spaces if I can help it for a while yet but it will just be good to have a choice
